A little more about the activity
Autumn Family Nature Quest gives an ordinary walk a little more purpose and adventure. This printable fall nature scavenger hunt is made for families with children around ages 5–10, with 24 quest cards that encourage everyone to observe, listen, move and share discoveries. It goes beyond collecting objects on a checklist.
Six themes keep the outing varied: Look Closer, Texture & Detail, Listen & Sense, Move & Explore, Nature Detective and Family Challenges. Take the cards to a park, woodland, neighborhood or countryside walk and choose them as you explore. There is no required winner, so siblings can complete the quests together and compare what they notice.
Pick a handful for a short outing or save different quests for another day. The included reflection page gives you somewhere to remember favorite places, funny discoveries and surprises afterward. The quests encourage observation while leaving living plants and wildlife undisturbed.
For families with children around ages 5–10. Siblings can explore together at their own pace.

READY TO GET STARTED?
Before you begin
You will need a printer or printing service, paper and scissors, plus a suitable outdoor place to explore. Bring a pencil if you want to fill in the reflection page. A small bag or clipboard is optional. Leave living plants where they are and watch wildlife quietly from a distance. If you collect anything, choose only items that have already fallen naturally.
Print & enjoy
Purchase through Etsy, download your PDFs and print the quest cards. Cut them out and take them on your autumn walk. Shuffle the cards or choose them as you go, and complete as many quests as you like. Print the reflection page if you want to record your discoveries afterward.
