A little more about the activity
Set out the cards after a fall walk or gather everyone for a round before Thanksgiving dinner. Woodland animals and characters in acorn hats share the cards with pumpkins, colorful leaves, and a mug of hot chocolate. Even the fox has remembered a scarf.
Choose one person to draw and show the calling cards. Everyone covers the matching picture on their own bingo card, looking for five in a straight line across, down, or diagonally. Call “Bingo!” when your line is complete, then check it against the pictures already drawn. Players who finish on the same call share the win.
All cards contain the same 25 pictures in different positions, with no free space. To play again, clear the markers and reshuffle the calling cards. Swap bingo cards between rounds if you like.
For kids and adults playing together on autumn afternoons, at family gatherings, and around the Thanksgiving table.
