A little more about the activity
Popcorn & Plot Twists helps turn a family movie into a whole movie-night occasion. This printable family movie night activity pack is designed for families with children around ages 7–12, with room for older children and adults to join in. It gives everyone something to choose, predict, notice and talk about before, during and after the movie.
Choose a movie to match your mood, make predictions and organize a snack draft before settling down. During the movie, Screen Spot Bingo and a scene hunt add things to watch for. Afterward, compare reactions through reviews and family movie awards, check who got their predictions right, and record the evening on the Movie Night Hall of Fame page. Eight different bingo cards are included.
Choose just a few activities for a simple night on the sofa or use more of the pack for a sleepover, rainy weekend or movie-themed gathering. You do not need movie trivia knowledge or a particular title: the activities are made to work with different family movies. That also makes it easy to return to the pack when your next movie night comes around.
For families with children around ages 7–12; older children and adults can join in.
